The Hive Lofts


Located at the northeast corner of The Queensway and Lady Bank Road is an architectural statement. Designed by Teeple Architects and known as “The Hive”, the project is at the top of the list of Toronto’s ten Best Condos in Toronto Life Real Estate 2012. This project envisions a 6-storey, 20-unit, mixed-use building.

In addition to the impressive architecture, one of the interesting aspects of the project has to do with parking. Given the small size of the site, underground parking was not feasible. Eighteen parking spaces for the building’s residents are provided in six parking stackers on the ground floor of the building.

Weston Consulting has played a pivotal role in the planning process for this development. We assisted in the facilitation of a Zoning By-Law Amendment, Draft Plan of Condominium, Site Plan applications and also represented the client at the Ontario Municipal Board.
