Justin joined Weston Consulting in February of 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University and is a Full Member of the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians.
As the Director of Business Development, Justin manages a team of planning technicians and administrative staff with a primary focus of establishing rapports with new clients; conducting preliminary site assessment meetings; undertaking land use planning research and preliminary consultation; developing proposals for planning, urban design, and landscape architecture services; and is responsible for leading the firm’s response to municipal Requests for Proposals, Qualifications, and Standing Offers.
Since joining Weston Consulting, Justin has operated in roles with responsibilities that included developing, recommending, and implementing short-term and long-term strategic goals; providing planning and administrative guidance and support; monitoring key business activities; and managing the Human Resources selection and recruitment process, including screening and interviewing applicants, and hiring new employees.
Alongside Weston Consulting’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin is also responsible for overseeing special projects associated with Information Technology solutions for the firm’s operational infrastructure.
