The Bolton High Performance Athletic Centre (HPAC) will be a state-of-the-art training facility for athletes competing on the world stage, weekend warriors, and everyone in between. The project is being led by Doug Wood, a decorated Pole Vaulter who won silver at the 1991 Pan American Games and represented Canada at the 1992 Olympic Summer Games.
The 5,000 square metres facility is being designed to accommodate high jump, disc throwing, para-jumps, and gymnastics. The facility will also offer a range of ancillary spaces, including a classroom, weight room, change rooms, lounge, kitchen, athletic therapy area, secure equipment storage, and washrooms to serve both indoor and outdoor athletic activities.
Weston Consulting is working closely with Mr. Wood to provide strategic support and project management expertise for a Site Plan Approval (SPA) application to permit the new facility.
