Jacob joined Weston in January 2020. Jacob holds a bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURPl) from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) and is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) in the Province of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP).
Jacob works on planning applications such as Official Plan Amendment (OPA), Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA), Site Plan Approval and Committee of Adjustment Applications (Consent and Minor Variance) for a wide variety of projects including high-rise residential, subdivisions, employment/ industrial, data centres, commercial plazas & mixed-use buildings. Jacob has notable experience in managing landowner groups and assisting with the submission, approval and clearing of conditions to advance registration of draft plan of condominiums and subdivisions.
