The historic town of Lefroy in Innisfil, with its picturesque views to Lake Simcoe and its historic main street was earmarked to accommodate additional population growth.

WCGI, in conjunction with a team of professionals developed a vision for this community that struck a unique balance between growth and environmental protection while maintaining the small town village character of the community.

WCGI developed a secondary plan for the community and filed planning applications for the development of certain lands within the settlement area, prepared in conjunction with stakeholders, the Town and County.

These planning documents were ultimately approved by the OMB in 2007 and 2008.
