Dreamwood is a subdivision in the North Maple community of Vaughan. This 97 acre site had numerous unique and challenging physical features which were considered in the design of this residential infill project. These include: rolling topography, valley lands, disturbed farmlands, woodlots, wetlands, rare species, existing Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI), Oak Ridges Moraine etc.

The project was developed offering a wide variety of homes and styles as well as preserving and enhancing environmental features to compliment the overall design. The project exemplifies many sustainable design principles and demonstrates how a subdivision can benefit the general community as well as the environment. As a result of this vision and ultimate accomplishment, the project was awarded the City of Vaughan, Urban Design Environmental Green Award of Merit, 2008
